Prince’s Trust – Get into Construction scheme.

Following the training that the Prince’s Trust provided during this scheme, 4 of our young people completed the course and received their CSCS cards, Abrasive Wheels certificates and Mobile Towers Certificates.

These 4 young people are now perfectly placed to get paid employment and are far more employable than they were 3 weeks ago.

Also, an employment agency is set to sign them up and look for work on their behalf as they are connected with employers in the construction industry.

Employment & Training for ex-offenders in London

It’s proven and accepted that employment deters people from committing crime, therefore it logically leads us to the conclusion that by employing more ex-offenders we can reduce crime levels.

The first problem is in getting employers to include ex-offenders into their recruitment processes, rather than excluding them on pricipal.

We want employers in London that ARE prepared to employ ex offenders to join us in reducing crime in London. It can be done, but you need to take action, so come on and get in contact if you want to be on the crest of this wave !

Offender Learning in the Community

Offenders have fewer educational and employment skills than the general population and fewer opportunities to access the services they need.
